How we collect, use and protect the personal data you share with us.

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Annadaltri S.r.l., Viale Abruzzi 32, 20131 Milano (Italy), VAT / Tax code 07537810967. Contact: hello@marinecornerhouse.com.

2. Data we collect

Through the booking-request form on this website we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Requested dates and number of guests
  • Purpose of stay and any free-text message you send us

If your stay is confirmed, we send you a private, single-use link where the person making the booking provides the data needed to complete it: full name, date and place of birth, citizenship, identification document details (type, number, issuing authority and dates), Italian tax code or company name and VAT number, residential address and phone number, plus the number of guests and the dates of stay.

Card payments (deposit and balance) are processed directly by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. as an autonomous data controller for the payment transaction. Card numbers never reach our servers: we only receive the transaction outcome, amount, date and reference.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Replying to your booking request and managing the correspondence and the rental agreement — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures).
  • Collecting guest and document data and issuing invoices — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations under Italian hospitality, public-security and tax rules).
  • Processing deposit and balance payments and sending the related transactional emails — Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Providing this data is necessary to confirm the stay: without it we cannot complete the booking.

4. Retention

Booking requests that do not lead to a stay are deleted within 24 months. Guest and identification-document data are kept for the period required by Italian hospitality and public-security rules; invoicing and payment records are kept for 10 years as required by tax law. Data held in our private reserved area is deleted once these periods expire.

5. Recipients

Your data may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by our website and database hosting provider, our transactional email provider (messages sent from our marinecornerhouse.com domain) and, where applicable, our accountant. Payment data is processed by Stripe as an independent controller. Guest and document data are transmitted to the competent Italian authorities (Alloggiati Web / ISTAT) where required by law. We never sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Access to the reserved area containing your data is restricted to authorised staff through individual authentication; documents are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible.

6. Cookies

This website uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (e.g. storing your cookie-banner choice). No profiling or third-party advertising cookies are installed.

7. Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights write to hello@marinecornerhouse.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali — garanteprivacy.it).
